Buzz Math is a fun and easy way to sharpen math skills. It can be configured for all skill levels. New learners will find it an ideal way to learn multiplication tables, while even grown math majors will find the multi-digit division approximation game an educating challenge! Both kids and adults alike can benefit from a daily game.
- Choose your operators Select any combination of Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and/or Division.
- Choose the difficulty Select how many digits each operand will have. You can have a very simple 1 digit by 1 digit game, or a very challenging 5 digit by 5 digit game, or any combination in between.
- Timed tests Either set a countdown to see how many you can answer in the given time, or pick a number that you would like to answer and see how long it takes you to answer them all. Or simple answer as many as you wish at your leisure.
- The division challenge for masters Buzz Math offers a unique way to test your division skills. The division facts that you will be asked will not always divide evenly into a round integer. Buzz Math challenges you to approximate the answer to either the nearest 10th or 100th. If this sounds easy ask yourself what 9 divided by 7 is to the nearest 10th, or 100th? And if that is too easy try 58 divided by 13. How many of those could you answer correctly in a minute? Try and watch how fast your approximation skills improve!
